I have been unable to get id verified on my computer with Amazon to continue with our project there. I will keep trying, steady hands are harder when you are 75 years old. I even had another try for me but his hands the same. So how did it get published? I went to Lulu.com and published it on their site. Problems with that is they did not let me set my price for the paperback, they used their price. No person would buy a paperback at this price, so I have to continue to try with Amazon. Did it get published? Yes and is only available at their personal bookstore for 26.68 a ridiculous price.
Lulu and Amazon do things totally backwards from each other, yet Lulu can sell books on Amazon if you choose global. Lulu works on getting your book submission correct first, there is no id required. This is a publish yourself place, if you want paid for selling the book you give information. Amazon gets your bank information first before you then deal with giving book information properly.
I did buy some copies yesterday after publishing, just because it is first publishing and I won’t pay that price. So for me to purchase it would be at cost. I will then get to see it first published. They do require approval of the book before they would put it global anyway, I did not do that step.
To try and continue at Amazon is the goal for global distribution, so I will work to get id approved. They block you from trying so many times so I have no clue how long this will take. The book remains free to all PDF at the link provided in the menu.
